In 1999, the Dana Adobe Nipomo Amigos began with an initial focus to save the crumbling historic Dana Adobe. Today, Rancho Nipomo provides opportunities to learn about science, history, and culture. The California rancho experience allows students to connect with their heritage and inspires them to create, explore, invent, and dream.

We would appreciate your investment to support the DANA Adobe & Cultural Center. Here are some ways you can support DANA Adobe & Cultural Center…

Become a member

Membership does have its privileges at Rancho Nipomo and the Dana Adobe. Our members are first to know about programs, activities, and concerts, as well as news about the organization. Discounts are offered at Captain Dana’s Store (the gift shop) and for select events. In fact, some events are exclusive to members, including new exhibit receptions, and special dinners. To learn more about the types and benefits of a DANA membership, click the Membership Benefits below and Join Today!

Become a Volunteer

Do you want to get out of the house, enjoy the fresh air, learn, explore, and give back to the community? We would enjoy having you join the Dana Adobe volunteer team. Yes,

There are many opportunities to give time to the Dana Adobe – whether it’s leading a tour, field trip, or hike. Maybe your interest lies in gardening, landscaping, or fixing irrigation. There are even opportunities to do research, write, present, plan events and help with administrative tasks, too.

If you’re willing and able, we would appreciate your help! Just click the Volunteer Today box below to join the Dana Adobe team!
