Join us at the DANA Adobe Cultural Center for the next installment in the Sunday Speaker Series! The first European settlers in both California and New Mexico arrived from Mexico under the Spanish flag. Did both states have a Rancho Period? Well yes and no! Join Jaime Avila as he elaborates on the comparisons of the history of California and New Mexico before they became part of the United States, along with expounding on the experiences of the Californios and Nuevo Mejicanos.
The talk will take place on Sunday, July 15 at 2:00 PM at the DANA Adobe Cultural Center. Members get in free, otherwise, admission is $5.
