Filled with stunning photographs revealing the richness and vibrancy of contemporary Native Californian cultures, She Sang Me a Good Luck Song: The California Indian Photographs of Dugan Aguilar is a new statewide traveling exhibition.

The exhibit, which is being hosted at the DANA Adobe Cultural Center from May until mid-July, features portraits and landscapes that subvert the typical romanticized narrative of Native peoples.

The exhibit is open to the public on Saturdays from 10 AM to 1 PM and Sundays from 1 PM to 4 PM. Admission is $5.

She Sang Me A Good Luck Song: The California Indian Photographs of Dugan Aguilaris a partnership with Exhibit Envoy, Heyday Books, and the Native Fund, curated by Theresa Harlan and artist Dugan Aguilar.
