HERITAGE DAY

History comes alive each fall at DANA’s Annual Heritage Day Celebration! Join us at the Dana Adobe at Historic Rancho Nipomo for a day filled with history, culture, and fun for the whole family. Immerse yourself in the rich heritage of California’s Central Coast as we celebrate Heritage Day together.

Experience Living History: Walk in the footsteps of early settlers and pioneers as you explore the historic Dana Adobe. From interactive demonstrations to guided tours, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

The Permanent Exhibit located in the Dana Adobe and Cultural Center provides surprising and fascinating stories. The exhibit and displays present an overview of the environmental, cultural, and historic changes in California.

Wine Down Wednesdays

Wine Down Wednesday at the Rancho: A monthly affair at the Rancho’s Vineyard, where local wineries showcase their finest. Experience the essence of our region’s terroir through curated wine tastings guided by regional vintners, set amidst the picturesque backdrop of our historic vineyard. Join us for delightful afternoons of discovery and pleasure, as we celebrate the artistry and flavors of local winemakers in each carefully crafted sip.

SUNDAY SPEAKER SERIES

Join us for DANA’s monthly Speaker Series, held on a Sunday at 1:00pm! Topics range from everything and anything California, Conservation, History and Heritage!

AN EVENING ON THE RANCHO GALA

DANA’s annual gala is the primary event to support the mission and programs of the organization. Enjoy a night of wonderful food, great company, and exciting auctions featuring items and experiences from across the Central Coast!

NATUREFEST

Every spring the DANA Adobe brings children and nature together! Take part in the arts and crafts, enjoy the food booths, participate in nature-themed science projects, and of course take guided hikes throughout parts of the Rancho!

TAMALE MAKE AND TAKE EVENT

Saturday December 2, 2023 from 9 AM to 12PM
This hands-on class will teach you the basic steps to make traditional Californio style tamales. All ingredients and equipment will be provided. Limited to twelve spots, and the Class is Full – check back next year.
